The TikTokification of culture now includes the holidays.

While popular gift ideas used to come from a myriad of sources, TikTok now drives our desire for what we want to see under the tree. According to TikTok, users tend to plan for the holidays earlier, celebrate more, and keep sharing and shopping even after the season ends. 

In fact, TikTokers are 1.2x more likely than users of traditional platforms to shop online or in-store, to impulse shop, or to engage in shopping directly on the platform. Videos tagged with #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt have generated over 31 billion views, an increase of more than 500% in the past year.

The Airwrap is a popular yet expensive tool used by many hair and beauty lovers—most of which are heading to TikTok for tips and tricks. Gen Z and Millennials want value and do not mind investing in a quality product that they can own for years

#scrubdaddy - 2.4 Billion views  

This Shark Tank product also went viral with the CleanTok community. The brand's quirky, humorous and enjoyably odd videos are a perfect fit for Gen Z. According to CEO Aaron Krause, sales have increased in the thousands of percent thanks to TikTok.

The Beauty Blender Makeup Sponge 
#beautyblender - 830.7 million views 

This now classic viral product continues to remain trendy thanks to cleaning and makeup hacks like freezing before applying foundation. TikTok videos have done an exceptional job demonstrating what makes the Beauty Blender sponge so much more effective than the competition.

The Stanley tumbler
#stanley – 605.6 million views  

This tumbler became TikTok famous for its ability to keep ice frozen for 24 hours. Sales spiked from curious consumers who challenged the claim. Many of which later posted videos validating the claim – driving more interest in the process.

#scruffie - 106.8 million views  

This is another Shark Tank product that went viral on TikTok. Being bendable with 5 razors, the Scruffie Leg Shaver gives a smooth shave, even in those hard-to-reach spots. Videos from the founder feature the product's wins and fails, boosting trust and sales alike.

Youthforia BYO Blush 
#youthforia – 31.4 million views  

PH makeup is trendy on TikTok. This blush gives you a personalized pink glow by reacting to the PH levels on your skin. This made Gen Z feel like it's personalized to their exact skin type pushing sales in the process.
